Philip Soran

Phil Soran possesses extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Director at Origina since April 2022, Soran also holds positions as Lead Outside Director at Piper Sandler & Co and Director at SPS Commerce, Foodsby, and Spineology Inc. Soran has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Minnesota Foundation and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of St. Thomas since 2014 and 2017, respectively. Notably, Soran was the Executive Chairman of Flipgrid until its acquisition by Microsoft in June 2018. Additional past roles include Director at HelpSystems, LLC and Hutchinson Technology Inc. Soran’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of Northern Colorado and participation in the Directors Consortium program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
