Erik Willemsen

Erik Willemsen is a seasoned technical specialist with extensive experience in Unix systems, particularly AIX, Linux, and Oracle. Currently serving as a technical specialist at SPS Continuïteit in IT since July 2008, Erik focuses on maintenance, performance management, and problem-solving across various Unix platforms. Previously, Erik worked at Xout Europe, where responsibilities included implementing and maintaining a clustered Linux hosting environment. Erik's career began at Nederlandse Spoorwegen as an AIX specialist, followed by a role at Rabobank Nederland NV as a product manager responsible for a large Unix infrastructure. Erik also has a background as a technical consultant at Unisys, supporting Unix systems for customers. Education includes degrees from Radboud University in computer science and specialized training from Sun Microsystems and IBM.
