Vivek Rao

Vivek Rao is an accomplished executive in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Director on the Board of SPP Technologies Co. Ltd since June 2022 and President and COO of SPT Microtechnologies USA, Inc. since October 2009, Vivek has been pivotal in overseeing P&L responsibilities and managing multiple functional groups, including Product Management, R&D Engineering, and Manufacturing. Furthermore, Vivek has contributed as a Non-Executive Director at BluGlass Limited since April 2016 and previously at Revasum until September 2021. With a strong technical background, responsibilities have included managing customer applications and engineering teams at prominent companies like ASML, Silicon Valley Group, and Watkins Johnson. Vivek holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston and has numerous years of expertise in the field.
