Douglas MacFarlane

Douglas Macfarlane is an experienced professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as PECVD Product Manager and previously as PECVD Product Engineer at SPTS Technologies Ltd, a KLA Company, since January 2021. Prior to this role, Douglas held positions at Infineon Technologies from June 2013 to November 2020, focusing on GaN technology development as a Staff Engineer and GaN Process Integration Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed process development, yield enhancement, and device electrical analysis for high voltage applications. Douglas earned a PhD from the University of Glasgow between October 2009 and May 2013, concentrating on gallium nitride-based high electron mobility transistors, and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution from 2004 to 2009.
