Olivier Wantz

Olivier Wantz serves as a Member of the Executive Committee and Chief Risk Officer at Spuerkeess since May 2021, overseeing Risk Management and Compliance. Additionally, Olivier holds the position of Head of Risk Management at LALUX Assurances starting in April 2022 and serves as a Non-Executive Director at the European Investment Bank from July 2014 to May 2021. Previous roles include Senior Head of Unit for Credit Risk Control at EIB, where responsibilities included managing a team and overseeing credit provisions and stress-testing models, as well as Senior Credit Risk Officer at Deutsche Bank, focusing on Credit Risk portfolio modeling. Olivier began a career in finance as an Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank, concentrating on Credit Risk modeling, after completing a PhD in Physics at the University of Cambridge and a Diplom-Physiker at the University of Heidelberg.
