Yamkela Koti

Yamkela Koti is currently the Group Reporting Manager and Financial Reporting Specialist at Spur Corporation, a JSE-listed company, responsible for preparing IFRS 9, IFRS 15, and IFRS 16 workings for interim and year-end reporting, as well as compiling and reviewing annual financial statements. Prior to this role, Yamkela served as Group Financial Accountant at Ad Dynamo, overseeing group accounting operations and managing financial transactions. Experience at PwC included being a CMAAS Manager, where responsibilities encompassed resolving complex technical accounting issues and assisting insurance clients with IFRS 17 implementation, as well as completing SAICA articles as a Trainee Chartered Accountant. Educational qualifications include a Post-graduate Diploma in Accounting (CTA) and a BCom Accounting for Chartered Accountants, both from Nelson Mandela University.
