Sonia Robinson

Sonia Robinson is the current CEO at Spur Staffing. Sonia has also previously served as the Executive Director at BIO Alabama and as the General Manager and Vice President at Appleton Talent.

Sonia has a long history of working to promote the intellectual and innovative capital that make Alabama a premier place to invest, start, and grow in bioscience. As the State affiliate of Biotechnology Innovation Organization, they have represented the State regionally, nationally, and internationally.

In their role as General Manager at Spur, Sonia was responsible for implementing new software to existing customers that represented an estimated $40M in recurring revenue. Sonia stabilized business practices and software functionality by communicating customer needs to cross-functional internal team of developers and customer support representatives. Sonia also trained users on software and ensured optimal use of features and functionality.

Sonia is a highly effective leader with a proven track record of success in both the private and public sector. Sonia is passionate about their work and committed to making a positive impact in their community.

Sonia Robinson has a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of North Alabama.
