Gerard Santema

Gerard Santema has extensive work experience in sales and management roles in the industrial equipment and pump industry. Gerard currently serves as the Senior Sales Director for Central & South Europe at SPX FLOW, Inc. Prior to this, they were the Senior Sales Director for Central Europe at the same company.

Before joining SPX FLOW, Inc., Gerard worked at SPX Flow Technology, where they held various positions such as EMEA Sales Director for Industrial Pumps & Mixers, Global Sales Director for Industrial Pumps, Sales Director for Food & Beverage EMEA, and Sales Director for Europe A.

Gerard also gained experience at SPX Process Equipment, where they were the Global Sales Manager for Johnson Pump Brand, responsible for establishing a worldwide sales structure and implementing global growth strategies. Gerard started their career at Johnson Pump AB, Industry, as the Division Manager for Export, and later worked as the Managing Director and General Manager at Johnson Pump Brussels Nv.

Gerard began their professional journey at Stork Pompen Nv as an Area Sales Engineer and later served as the Logistics Manager. Gerard has a strong background in sales, distribution, and international business management in the industrial equipment sector.

Gerard Santema has a diverse education history. In 2019, they completed a course in Strategic & Conceptual Selling at Miller Heiman Group. The previous year, in 2018, they participated in Channel Management Training with the same organization. In 2009, they attended the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro (USA) and completed an Advanced Leadership Program. In 2006-2007, they pursued Operational Excellence at the University of Tennessee. Continuing back in time, Gerard obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from EHSAL University College Brussels, Belgium in 2002-2003. In 2001-2002, they studied Management at Gustav Käser. Finally, in 1989-1990, they earned their Graduation Degree in Export & Logistics from Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen.
