Trevor Hilligoss

Trevor Hilligoss has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Trevor currently holds the position of Director of Security Research at SpyCloud since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Investigator for Enterprise at SpyCloud from August 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining SpyCloud, Trevor worked at the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command for several years. Trevor held the role of Special Agent & CID LNO to FBI Cyber from February 2020 to August 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Special Agent from April 2018 to February 2020, and from November 2015 to April 2018.

Additionally, Trevor worked at the US Army - Regional Cyber Center (Korea) as a Liaison Officer (Law Enforcement) from April 2018 to February 2020. Trevor started their career in the US Army, where they held the positions of Fire Support Sergeant from June 2014 to November 2015, and Combat Observation and Lasing Team (COLT) Chief from December 2011 to June 2014.

Trevor Hilligoss obtained a diploma from Ashland High School from 2005 to 2009. Trevor then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology at Oregon State University from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Trevor received several certifications, including Digital Forensic Examiner from the United States Department of Defense in November 2017, Digital Evidence Acquisition Specialist from the FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING CENTER in August 2017, Special Victims Investigator from the United States Army in September 2016, Federal Criminal Investigator from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in June 2016, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from GIAC Certifications in April 2022, GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) from GIAC Certifications in January 2021, and Digital Media Collector from the United States Department of Defense in June 2017.
