Pierre Betouin

SVP, Product Management at Datadog

Pierre Betouin is the current Senior Vice President of Product Management at Datadog. Prior to this, they were the Co-founder and CEO of Sqreen, which was acquired by Datadog in April 2021.

Betouin has been working in the software security industry for over 15 years. Pierre started their career as a software security engineer at SAGEM Defense and security in 2006. Pierre then moved to Apple in November 2006 and worked there for nine years, eventually becoming the Security Engineering Manager.

In 2015, Betouin left Apple to co-found Sqreen. Sqreen is a application security platform that provides real-time defenses and visibility into an organization's entire application portfolio. In just six years, Sqreen grew to 800 customers before being acquired by Datadog.

Under Betouin's leadership, Sqreen became the go-to solution for modern enterprises looking to protect their applications and APIs. Pierre's work has helped make the internet a safer place for everyone.

Pierre Betouin graduated from ESIEA - ÉCOLE D'INGÉNIEUR·E·S D'UN NUMÉRIQUE UTILE with an engineer's degree in computer science.
