Leia Evans

Leia Evans currently serves as the Optimisation Manager at Squadron Energy since April 2025. Prior to this role, Leia was with APA Group from August 2019 to April 2025, where responsibilities included leading a team of instrumentation, electrical, and control engineers to enhance support for national gas and electricity transmission and power generation, as well as managing operations and maintenance regionally. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure at ExxonMobil from February 2008 to July 2019, holding various engineering roles including Senior Reliability Engineer and Environmental Engineer. Leia holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics, both earned from Monash University between 2003 and 2007.
