Valters Urbanovičs

Valters Urbanovičs has a diverse work experience background. Valters started their career as the Director of Commercial Service at SIA Business Aviation Service in 2010, where they were responsible for providing full charter flight services for various hockey teams. Valters then joined dots. (WeAreDots, SIA) in 2015, working in various roles such as IT Solutions Consultant, Account Manager, Head of Corporate Accounts, and later became the Head of Sales for IT Infrastructure, Security, and Software Development. In 2023, they joined Squalio and Noventiq as the Head of IT Solutions and Services Sales Department.

Valters Urbanovičs has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University), which they obtained in 2010. Valters pursued further education at the same university and started working towards a Master's degree in Information Technology in 2011, but the completion status is not specified.

In addition to their formal education, Valters Urbanovičs has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed the Microsoft Business Productivity Academy offered by Gustav Käser Training International. Valters also attended the Cloud Platform University courses and obtained certifications in Selling Azure for Business Continuity and Selling Azure and SQL Server for Business Continuity, both provided by Microsoft, in April 2016. Valters Urbanovičs further enhanced their skills by becoming a Sophos Certified Sales Consultant in October 2018.

Valters Urbanovičs continued their professional development by completing the Business English (BE) program at the Intermediate level offered by Riga Business School in June 2019. Looking into the future, they are scheduled to acquire two additional certifications from Microsoft, namely Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, in October 2023.
