Dave Galvez

Dave Galvez has over 30 years of professional experience in software engineering and configuration management. In 2015, they began working as a DevOps Engineer for Square 9 Softworks, where they were responsible for software build management, Jenkins Continuous Integration (CI) builds, and standardized builds and deployment of smaller cumulative service update installers. Prior to this, they worked at PerkinElmer from 1986 to 2015, starting as a Software Engineer / Configuration Management Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for configuration management, source code control, build and deployment packaging, and release to manufacturing. Additionally, they created ISO 9000 / 9001:2001 / 9001:2008 / TickIT process documentation and process enhancements of the Software and Firmware Development aspects of the R&D department. Dave also performed the majority of the site's production software builds, releases to test, and production releases to manufacturing. Later in their tenure at PerkinElmer, they worked as a Software Development Engineer.

Dave Galvez attended the University of Bridgeport from 1981 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
