Robert received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1979 and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 1983. With over 30 years of experience developing complex robotic workcells, his achievements include the creation of the groundbreaking LCLS Detector Positioning Robot at SLAC and the Multi-Collimating Mirror Positioner for Brookhaven National Laboratory.
