Maria Catanzariti

Maria Catanzariti has a strong background in communications and media relations. Maria currently holds the position of Head of Communications at Square Peg since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Global Communications Lead at Wing from 2019 to 2023. Maria also served as the Senior Public Relations Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Airbnb from 2017 to 2019. Maria gained experience as a Communications Manager at Twitter from 2014 to 2016. In addition, Maria worked as a Strategic Communications Manager at UN Women Australia from 2011 to 2013 and as a Media Adviser at the Department of Premier and Cabinet from 2008 to 2011.

Maria Catanzariti completed their Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications at the University of Sydney from 2004 to 2007. Maria then pursued their Master of Strategic Public Relations at the same university from 2008 to 2009, specializing in Media and Communications, Public Relations, and Government and International Relations.
