Boris Schlittgen

Boris Schlittgen has extensive experience in quantitative research and trading, currently serving in a quantitative research role at Squarepoint Capital since January 2015. Prior to this position, Boris held the title of Director at Barclays, where responsibilities focused on quantitative trading from April 2012 to December 2014. Earlier experience includes working as a Quantitative Trader at Societe Generale in systematic futures trading from February 2006 to February 2012, and as a Researcher specializing in statistical arbitrage at Capital Fund Management from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Boris has an academic background that includes a postdoctoral associate position in theoretical nuclear physics at Yale University between September 2001 and February 2003. Boris earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2001, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics with Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Physics from Imperial College London from 1992 to 1995.
