Horia Nedelcu

Horia Nedelcu is a quantitative researcher at Squarepoint Capital since March 2023, focusing on intraday trading using C++. Previously, Horia worked as a software engineer at Meta from September 2022 to February 2023, contributing to low-level projects related to media processing infrastructure and refactoring modules to improve asynchronous operations. Horia also gained experience as a software developer at Bitdefender, where features for patch analysis and plugin redesign were implemented. Prior roles include serving as an undergraduate teaching assistant at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, a junior software developer at Cognyte developing 5G monitoring devices, and a junior software engineer at 4PSA working on VoIP security services. Horia's early experience includes an internship at Fitbit focused on automating app reviews on devices.
