Luca Imeneo

Luca Imeneo is currently a Desk Quant Analyst at Squarepoint Capital, focusing on short-term research projects and infrastructure work within the commodities desk since January 2023. As a mentee in the LeadTheFuture Mentorship program since September 2020, Luca is one of a select few Italian students benefiting from guidance by high-impact mentors in STEM fields. In early 2021, Luca served as a Research Assistant at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where research involved C++ simulations and data analysis related to magnetic susceptibility in 3D Heisenberg ferromagnets. Luca holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford (2021-2022), a one-year exchange in Physics from EPFL (2020-2021), and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Politecnico di Milano (2018-2021), complemented by a diploma from Liceo Scientifico Stanislao Cannizzaro (2013-2018).
