Maxime Lavandier

Maxime Lavandier is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in DevOps and software engineering. Currently serving as Head of Platform at Squarepoint Capital since May 2020, Maxime leads a distributed team across Europe, Asia, and America, overseeing shared services such as Kafka, Consul, and Kubernetes. Prior experience includes working as a Product Owner and Lead DevOps Engineer at Scaleway, where Maxime led a team of engineers and contributed to the core platform of a cloud provider using Python. At Witick, Maxime was instrumental in designing and creating infrastructure for ticket validation services, utilizing Node.js for microservices development. Previous roles include Embedded Software Engineer at Etix Everywhere, Software and Infrastructure Engineer at 1001Pneus, and Embedded Software Developer at VITIROVER. Maxime holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from EPITECH and has also studied at California State University, Long Beach.
