Oleksii Melnyk

Oleksii Melnyk is a Quantitative Researcher currently employed at Squarepoint since November 2024, with prior experience at GTS where responsibilities included developing fully automated derivatives market-making strategies. At Mako Trading, Oleksii served as a Junior Quantitative Trader focusing on FX and Commodities automated options market-making. An early research experience at The Fields Institute For Research In Mathematical Sciences involved work on symmetric polynomials of graphs, leading to a publication in Graphs and Combinatorics. Oleksii co-founded Music Night Out Kyiv in 2016 and holds an MMath in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
