Thomas Ayoul

Thomas Ayoul is a quantitative researcher at Squarepoint Capital, with a focus on commodities since February 2023. Previously, Thomas held the position of Vice President and Associate in Commodities Quantitative Research at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from July 2017 to February 2023. Thomas has also contributed to academia as a teaching assistant at Stanford University for courses in probability, statistics, and stochastic control, and gained practical experience as a summer associate at J.P. Morgan, where a high-performance option pricer for commodities was developed. Additional internships include roles at BNP Paribas, where a recommender system was created, and Groupe Crédit Agricole in risk analytics. Thomas began a military career as an officer in the Armée de Terre, managing a section during operations in Lebanon. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mathematical and Computational Engineering from Stanford University and a Diplôme d'ingénieur in applied mathematics from École Polytechnique.
