Rachel Hillman has extensive experience in the marketing field, with a focus on brand development, positioning, and promotion. Rachel currently serves as the CEO of Squid People, a marketing group that empowers technology companies such as Scanning Pens, Succeed With Dyslexia, Wizcom Tech, and C-Pen. Prior to their current role, Rachel was the Head of Global Marketing at Scanning Pens, where they successfully led the marketing team from October 2018 to July 2022. Rachel also held the position of Marketing Manager at Scanning Pens from November 2017 to October 2018. Before joining Scanning Pens, Rachel worked as a Marketing Manager at Northern Gas Heating, where they managed various aspects of business and corporate campaigns. Their responsibilities included advertising, trade shows, content marketing, webinars, and budget management. In their previous role as Regional Marketing Manager at Langports English College, Rachel was responsible for overseeing marketing efforts in Asia, focusing on international business and marketing development. Rachel Hillman earned a Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Wolverhampton, graduating with a BA (HONS) in Marketing from 2002 to 2006.
