Ambassador Christina Frye, PhD MEd MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ambassador Christina is the Founder and President of Open Wings Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization formed during their PhD studies. Ambassador Christina also served as a US Ambassador for Global Goodwill Ambassadors and Greenden.

Ambassador Frye has been involved with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in various roles. Ambassador Christina served as a Liaison Director for the Industry Executives in Residence Program, where they partnered with federal agencies to bring executive talent from the private and nonprofit sectors into the government. Ambassador Christina also worked as a Management/Budget Analyst, conducting data analytics and providing oversight guidance within OPM's CFO office.

Ambassador Christina obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Bowie State University from 1996 to 1999. Ambassador Christina furthered their education by earning a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2004 and 2007.

Dr. Frye then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Services within the School of Public Service Leadership at Capella University, where they studied from 2008 to 2017. During their time at Capella, they focused on human services within the field of Public Service Leadership.

In order to enhance their skills and qualifications, they obtained several certifications as well. Ambassador Christina completed Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training from the US Army in September 2018. In July 2018, they received certification in E-Learning from Northcentral University. Additionally, they completed Ethics Training from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in November 2010, and Seven Steps of Performance Based Acquisition training from Acquisition Solutions Training in August 2010. In October 2009, they obtained Oracle & Prism (CBIS-Financial System) Training from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

Continuing their educational journey, Ambassador Frye pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership at Concordia University in Nebraska, completing it from 2018 to 2020.
