With a robust background that includes founding and managing Mortensen GC, as well as roles at Renatus, LLC, Rio Tinto, Jamberry, and Overstock.com, Mortensen brings over 15 years of comprehensive experience in in-house counsel and litigation, specializing in complex commercial contracts and compliance within diverse industries. Mortensen's educational qualifications include a J.D. from Drake University Law School and a degree in Music from the University of Utah.
