Troy Dean

Troy Dean is a Design Engineer at SRAM, LLC since May 2018, specializing in bottom bracket development for the DUB platform, process and material optimization for cost-effective product quality, and rapid prototyping with test procedure development. Previous experience includes roles as Location Sustainability Lead and Associate Design Engineer at Fraser Bicycle, and positions at Specialized Bicycle Components as a Mechanic and Mechanical Engineering Intern, where notable contributions included the development of innovative headset spacers and storage solutions for the '19 Venge and '19 Shiv Disc models. Troy also held several internships in industrial and product engineering at various companies, including Dunmore and James L. Taylor Manufacturing Company. Troy holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, completed in 2018.
