Vipin Bakshi

Vipin Bakshi is an accomplished Lead Embedded Systems Software Engineer at SRAM, LLC, since August 2022, driving the development of Embedded Android/Linux and Firmware stacks for Hammerhead Navigation Inc. products. Prior to this role, Vipin served as Embedded Software Engineer Lead at Hammerhead from August 2019 to July 2022, where responsibilities included leading the design of an Embedded Android/Firmware Platform for cycling products. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at General Motors, focusing on Android-based Infotainment Systems, and as an Embedded Software Engineer at 4iiii Innovations Inc., where core firmware and IoT infrastructure were developed for various products. Additional roles include a Software Design Engineering Intern at Garmin International and a position at Actua, developing STEM workshops for rural communities. Vipin holds a Master of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering specialization from the University of Calgary.
