Jamal Othman Oly

Jamal Othman OLY serves as the Managing Director at Ice Academy of Montreal, overseeing all strategic and operational aspects of the renowned ice dance training center since June 2019. In parallel, Jamal holds the position of Managing Director at Markey Int'l Arts and has been a Sports Commentator for SRG SSR since January 2011, providing expert commentary on figure skating events. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Associate at Markey International, Professional Figure Skater for Dancing on Ice in Germany, Commercial Business Analyst for Radisson Hotel Group, and Project Analyst within the travel industry. A former national coach for Malaysia and senior coach at the Singapore Ice Skating Association, Jamal transitioned from an Olympic athlete to a prominent figure in international ice skating coaching and promotion. Educational credentials include a current postgraduate certificate in International Sports Management from the University of London and a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the same institution, along with various certifications in marketing and legal studies.
