Sabine Süsstrunk

Sabine Süsstrunk studied at EPFL, ETH Zurich and the Rochester Institute of Technology RIT (USA). She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia in England. She then held a lectureship in the Department of Photography at RIT from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 to 1999, she was Principal Imaging Researcher at Corbis Corporation in Seattle, USA. Sabine Süsstrunk has been Professor of Image and Visual Representation at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) since 1999.
