Anne Plochowietz

Anne Plochowietz is currently serving as Associate Director Engineering at SRI International, where leadership focuses on integrating PARC’s research labs and managing the Photonic Systems group within the Future Concepts Division. Prior experience includes significant contributions as Area Manager at PARC, overseeing the Photonic Systems research area and advancing projects in health and optical sensing. Anne has also held roles as Staff Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher, designing high-throughput optical technologies and developing micro-assembly printers for DARPA. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MS in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Oxford, along with a BS with distinction in Physics from The University of Göttingen.
