Chris Cowart

Chris Cowart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in design, innovation, and business strategy. Currently serving as Managing Director at SRI International since May 2021, Chris leads the NSIC Innovation Center, focusing on integrating Silicon Valley's technology innovations into corporate Japan. Additionally, Chris has been Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer at Treasure8 since June 2020, driving initiatives related to nutrition and sustainable technology. As a Venture Partner at Montage Ventures and Core Faculty at Singularity University, Chris leverages expertise in UX and product design to support startup growth and student learning. Previous roles include consulting for moonshot projects at X, the moonshot factory, and serving as Chief Product Officer at Parasail Health. Chris holds a Master's Degree in Business and Management from Stanford University and a BS in Engineering Psychology from Tufts University.
