Jin Ki Hong

Jin Ki Hong is a Senior Scientist at PARC, a Xerox Company / SRI International since April 2021, where efforts focus on energy-efficient technologies for emission-free energy and chemicals, including sorbent-based carbon capture and methane pyrolysis for hydrogen production. Prior experience includes co-founding Kainos Tech Incorporated, which specializes in scalable production of aromatic hydrocarbons from ethane in shale gas, and serving as a Principal Engineer at Siluria Technologies, overseeing technology development for ethylene production from methane. Jin Ki Hong also held various positions at Amyris Inc, GE Global Research, GE Power, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Tulane University, contributing to advancements in fuel cell technology and hydrogen production. Educational background includes a Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, all obtained from Seoul National University.
