Karli Andy

Karli Andy has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, starting as a Professional Staff Nurse at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2008. Karli then transitioned into clinical research, working as a Clinical Research Project Manager at The University of Pittsburgh from 2011 to 2015. At this role, they oversaw research projects at multiple hospitals.

Karli then joined IQVIA in 2015 and held various roles such as Site Network Manager, Clinical Trials Educator, and Site Management Lead-Global. In these positions, they managed diverse teams and executed large-scale global clinical trials, providing oversight, mentorship, and training to team members. Karli also collaborated with global teams, developed project plans, and performed data analysis for project timelines and milestones.

In 2019, Karli joined ICON plc as a Project Manager, where they were accountable for the delivery of drug and device trials on time, on budget, and with the required quality. Karli acted as the primary contact for cross-functional internal project teams and customers.

Currently, Karli is working at SRI International as the Director of Clinical Operations - Biosciences. In this role, they oversee clinical research operations and personnel, engages with clients and innovators to build and maintain relationships, and focuses on pipeline growth and development for new trials.

Earlier in 2021, Karli also worked as an Independent Contractor/Consultant for Karli for Contract and Consult LLC, utilizing their diverse background in personnel, site, and project management in clinical research.

Karli Andy earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Wheeling University in the years 2006-2010. Karli then pursued two Master's degrees simultaneously, completing a Master of Science (MS) in Nursing Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at Waynesburg University between 2010 and 2012. Additionally, Karli Andy obtained several certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in November 2020, Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association in January 2018, and Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in November 2015.
