Leyi Gong

Leyi Gong has extensive work experience in the field of medicinal chemistry. Leyi has held various roles at SRI International, including Director, Associate Director, and Program Director in Medicinal Chemistry. Leyi also worked as an Adjunct Principal Scientist at SRI International. Before joining SRI International, Leyi Gong worked at Roche Pharmaceuticals as a Principal Research Scientist for 10 years. Prior to that, they were a Research Scientist II at Roche Biosciences, where they focused on designing and synthesizing novel templates for CCR3 antagonists and leading a chemistry program for GSK-3b. Leyi began their career as a Research Scientist I at Syntex Research.

Leyi Gong received a Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley in 1989. They then pursued further studies in Chemistry as a Postdoc at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Organic Chemistry at Fudan University.
