Nonye Alozie has a diverse work experience in the field of education and research. Nonye is currently working at SRI International as a Principal Education Researcher and Deputy Director of the STEM&CS Program Area. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Science Education Researcher at SRI International. From 2015 to 2020, Nonye worked as a Science Education Researcher at SRI International. Before joining SRI International, they were an Assistant Professor at Albion College from 2011 to 2014. Their earlier experience includes being an Educational Outreach Coordinator at Wayne State University from 2010 to 2011, where they led programs to provide professional development in biotechnology and environmental health sciences to secondary science teachers.
Nonye Alozie holds a Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Michigan. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Organismic Biology, Ecology, and Evolution from UCLA. They also earned an M.S. in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology from the University of Michigan. Nonye's earlier education was completed at Canoga Park High School, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
