Sarah Nixon Gerard is an experienced education researcher currently serving as a Senior Education Researcher at the Center for Learning and Development within SRI since August 2013. Gerard has held various roles at SRI, including Education Researcher and Research Analyst II. Prior to SRI, Gerard worked as a Capital Teaching Resident at KIPP DC Discover Academy and participated in the Urban Education Leaders Internship Program at District of Columbia Public Schools. Early career experience includes positions with Senator Sheldon Whitehouse as Scheduler and Deputy Scheduler, as well as a Staff Assistant for Senator Jack Reed. Sarah Nixon Gerard holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy and a BA from American University.
