Johann Amaratunga

Johann Amaratunga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Loss Adjuster in Non Motor for various companies since January 2008, Johann also acts as a freelance consultant specializing in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, alongside being a member of the Panel of Risk Engineers for multiple prominent insurance firms in Sri Lanka. With a comprehensive background that includes roles as an Insurance Loss Assessor for Ceylinco General Insurance Ltd and Sri Lanka Insurance, as well as freelance assignments with Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd, Johann has developed a robust expertise in loss assessment. Previous positions held include Procurement Manager at Ceylon Business Appliances and Managing Director at Rank Organisation, combined with a solid educational foundation in electronics, engineering, and insurance from various institutions. Currently pursuing an Associateship in Non Motor Insurance from the Insurance Institute of India, Johann continues to enhance professional qualifications while contributing to the field.
