Michelle Salerno Sigman

Michelle Salerno Sigman is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist with extensive experience in mental health and therapeutic settings. Currently employed at SRI Psychological Services since October 2019, Michelle has previously held roles as a Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist at NewPoint Behavioral Healthcare and worked as an Art Therapist at Lourdes Medical Center, focusing on psychiatric and MICA patients. Early career experiences include internships at Elmhurst Hospital Center, Long Beach Medical Center, and the School for Language and Communication Development, where Michelle facilitated both group and individual therapy sessions using art as a therapeutic medium. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Hofstra University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on Art Therapy from The College of New Jersey.
