Michael Penders

Michael Penders possesses extensive experience in information security, quality management systems, and legal compliance. Currently serving as the Lead Auditor for Information Security and Quality Management Systems at SRI Quality System Registrar and as Chief Information Security Officer at Command Group Companies, Penders has held significant roles since 2014. Additionally, Penders is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Strategic Content Imaging and has been President of Environmental Security International since January 2001. Prior experience includes serving as Special Counsel at the US Environmental Protection Agency from February 1992 to January 2001 and as Assistant Prosecutor at the Essex County Prosecutor's Office from October 1987 to February 1992. Penders holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Government from Cornell University and a Doctor of Law from Seton Hall University School of Law.
