Jhinuk Gupta

Jhinuk Gupta is an Assistant Professor of Food and Nutritional Sciences at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, where responsibilities include teaching subjects such as Chemistry of Bio-macromolecules, Food Chemistry, Food Analysis, and Food Processing Technologies, alongside research interests in food safety, quality control, and the application of AI in the food industry. Prior roles include Assistant Professor of Chemistry at St John College and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where research focused on the characterization of agricultural products. Experience also includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Kansas State University and a graduate student role at the National University of Singapore, culminating in a PhD in Chemistry. Educational background includes a Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor’s degree from Jadavpur University.
