Shayan Rashid

Shayan Rashid, CPA, CA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting and leadership roles. As the Managing Partner and co-founder of SRJ Chartered Professional Accountants since November 2011, Shayan has focused on transforming finance for entrepreneurs, supporting businesses with revenues from $500k to $80M and funded startups. In May 2023, Shayan co-founded and became CEO of 5 Rivers Energy, an incubator for clean energy projects in North America. Additional roles include co-founder of BOXLY and serving as Finance Chair on the Board of Directors for the Entrepreneurs' Organization Toronto. Previous positions include Senior Accountant at Collins Barrow, M&A Advisor at CognoVision Solutions Inc., and various roles in accounting and business development, supporting a diverse range of clients. Shayan holds a Chartered Accounting designation and a BA in Honours Economics and Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University.
