Calvin Boese

Calvin Boese is a highly experienced geotechnical engineer currently serving as a Principal Consultant at SRK Consulting since February 2017, focusing on challenges in mine operations, waste management, and closure projects. Prior to SRK, Calvin held several key positions at Norwest Corporation from May 2001 to January 2017, including Manager of the Saskatoon office and Manager of Geotechnical Engineering, where the emphasis was on providing geotechnical and geo-environmental services for mining projects. Early career experiences included serving as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Project Manager for multidisciplinary closure design initiatives. Calvin's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Geo-Environmental & Geological Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, along with a diploma in Biblical Studies.
