Shawn Kitt

Shawn Kitt is a seasoned professional in the field of geology with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant in Structural Geology at SRK Consulting since June 2018, Shawn previously worked as a PhD Researcher at Stellenbosch University from October 2013 to December 2017, focusing on the geology of the Omitiomire Cu deposit in Namibia. Prior to this, Shawn held the position of Senior Exploration Geologist at AngloGold Ashanti from May 2004 to May 2013 and worked as a Regional Mapping Geologist at the Geological Survey of Namibia from May 2001 to April 2004, concentrating on the Kaoko Belt of NW Namibia. Shawn Kitt holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), MSc, and BSc with Honours in Geology, all from Stellenbosch University.
