Pieter Dieleman

Pieter Dieleman is a seasoned Project Manager at SRON since August 2000, where leadership encompasses a team focused on developing, building, and optimizing scientific instrumentation for space research. Additionally, Pieter serves as the Instrument Science Group Manager, overseeing a 45-member team dedicated to creating and validating novel detectors and research instrumentation. Prior experience includes a tenure as Program Manager at PHOTONIS - Delft Electronic Products from August 1998 to July 2000, focusing on product improvements and production troubleshooting. Pieter holds a Dr.Ir. degree in Physics from the University of Groningen, earned between 1988 and 1998, and completed education at Lauwers College Buitenpost from 1973 to 1988.
