Shekhar Mehta

Shekhar Mehta has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Shekhar began their career as an Intern at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in 2011, followed by a Student Intern position at University Health in 2013. In 2012, they joined Hespeler Pharmacy as an Intern until 2016.

Shekhar then joined SRx Health Solutions in 2016 as a Pharmacy Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing daily business operations and supporting patients with complex chronic diseases. In 2022, Shekhar was promoted to Vice President of Pharmacy Operations, where they strategized and established objectives for multiple pharmacies across Canada. Shekhar focused on improving patient care, enhancing access to treatments, and managing pharmacy staff. In 2023, they further advanced to the role of VP Strategy and Corporate Development at SRx Health Solutions.

Shekhar Mehta's education history includes obtaining a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree from the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science - BS in Neurobiology and Behavior from the University of Toronto from 2006 to 2010. Shekhar's high school education was done at Glenforest Secondary School, where they earned a High School Diploma with a focus on Pharmacy from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Pharmacist from the Ontario College of Pharmacists in 2016.
