Carl Holmertz

Carl Holmertz serves as the UX-Lead and Development Engineer at SSAB, where responsibilities include leading UX design for production systems utilized by thousands of employees since September 2022. Previous experience includes roles as Konsultchef and UX-designer at Consid AB, where Carl managed creative projects and team development from January 2020 to September 2022. Carl has also worked as a UX designer and Interaction Designer at Sogeti and Usify, contributing to significant healthcare projects and gaining expertise in UX and Service design. Additionally, Carl founded and acted as product owner for the podcast Sjölivet from March 2016 to August 2019, and has prior experience in fitness instruction and entrepreneurship. Education includes a Master's degree in Interaction and Design from Umeå University and high school studies in Natural Sciences at Gripenskolan.
