Christina Friborg

Christina Friborg is the EVP & Head of Sustainability at SSAB. Christina has previously worked as the UN coordinator at Sida, a human rights officer at UNHCR, the head of sustainable business at Sandvik AB, and an internal auditor (CSR) at Sandvik. Christina has also worked as a CSR expert at ETHOS International and as a 2nd secretary (temporary reinforcement) at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in New York.

Christina Friborg studied law at Uppsala University and Östra Real and Alströmska Skolan. Christina received their LLM from Uppsala University in 2001.

Christina Friborg reports to Martin Lindqvist, President & CEO. They are on a team with Charles Schmitt - EVP & Head of SSAB Americas, Martin Pei - EVP & CTO, and Viktor Strömberg - EVP, Strategy & Digitalization.
