Janne Paavola

Janne Paavola is an experienced engineer with a strong background in tools design and research and development. Currently serving as a Tools Design Engineer at SSAB since October 2017, Janne focuses on designing forming tools and creating manufacturing drawings for cold rolled profile production. Previous experience includes a role as an R&D Engineer at Robit Plc, where Janne worked on new product design and updates for drilling systems, and a position as an M.Sc. Thesis worker at Sandvik Mining and Construction, developing expertise in rock drilling equipment. Janne's early career also includes roles in quality control and industrial cleaning, alongside blue-collar work in steel production. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degrees in Materials Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, and ongoing studies in Electrical and Automation Engineering at Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
