Sami Pengerkoski

Sami Pengerkoski has extensive experience in engineering and reliability, currently serving as a Reliability Engineer at SSAB since September 2014, following the transition from Ruukki Metals Oy. Prior to that, Sami worked as a Reliability Engineer at Rautaruukki Oyj for seven years. Additional roles include Development Engineer and Maintenance Engineer in Liquid Steel Production and other maintenance development projects. Sami's career began at Konecranes, where the role of Sales Manager for the South East Asia Region was held alongside responsibilities as a Development Engineer in hoist transmissions. Early experience includes a position as a Production Development Engineer at Fimet. Sami holds a Master of Engineering degree in Strategic Leadership of Technology-based Business and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanics, both from Hämeen AMK.
