Vesa-Heikki Kemppainen

Vesa-Heikki Kemppainen possesses extensive experience in real estate management, currently serving as the Head of Real Estate at SSAB since January 2015, overseeing global portfolio management, business relationships, and special projects, with a focus on data-driven decisions and real estate economics. Prior experience includes the role of Global Real Estate Manager at Ruukki from January 2008 to December 2014, managing diverse regions including Northern Finland, Scandinavia, and China, along with a significant tenure at Nokia Siemens Networks where responsibilities spanned across the North East Region and included construction management and facility management. Vesa-Heikki Kemppainen’s career began in engineering and purchasing roles, culminating in a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Oulu and further education in asset and property management.
