Carl Davies

Carl Davies has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Carl is currently the Director of Commercial at SSE Enterprise & SSE Energy Solutions, a position they have held since July 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Contracts MENA Area at Samsung Engineering from May 2014 to June 2017. Carl also worked as the Contracts Manager EPC2 Ruwais Refinery Expansion Project at Jacobs Engineering from February 2012 to April 2014. Carl Davies founded and operated their own company, Davies Rawlins Associates Ltd, as a Director from November 2011 to February 2012. Carl gained significant experience in the energy industry as the Commercial Manager and JV Commercial Manager at Nacap from December 2009 to November 2011 and from July 2005 to December 2009, respectively. Carl Davies also held commercial management positions at Lawrence / Land & Marine, Amey Rail, Walter Lawrence Civil & Mechanical, Tsunami Construction Limited, and Kier Construction / Kier Rail.

Carl Davies attended Robert Gordon University from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in LLM/MSc Construction Law and Arbitration. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1992, they studied Quantity Surveying at Nottingham Trent University, earning a B.Sc (Hons) degree. Their earliest education can be traced back to King Henry VIII between 1982 and 1988, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
